If you follow me on Instagram (@shoplindsey) you know that I have been majorly crushing on velvet lately! It seems to be the only thing I’m drawn to while shopping. I went out for some girl time (ie. Christmas break decompression) on Monday with my Mom and Aunt and everywhere we went there was at least one velvet piece in my cart! I bought the cutest velvet dress that I plan to wear to an upcoming wedding and the sweetest velvet cami for layering!
I understand some of you might be turning your noses up to this trend, but let me show you how easy it is to wear! Im linking a few of my favorite velvet styles, from dressy to casual. And of course so many of these pieces are versatile! I plan to style my new cami over a white blouse (like above), over pattern blouses, under a faux leather moto jacket, and layered over a thin black turtle neck. So many options!
