{ Faux Suede Moto | Tunic | Faux Leather Leggings | OTK Boots | Clutch }
Last week I was running through Forever 21 in between errands and picking my youngest up at Mothers Day Out. My husband’s company Christmas Party was at the end of the week and I “needed” something new to wear. The dress was Holiday Casual, which to me means anything from a plaid top and tulle skirt to a sweater and skinnies. There’s way too much wiggle room there! This hardly every happens to me, especially when Holiday parties are concerned, but I couldn’t get a clear picture of what I wanted. Anyway, we’re here to talk about this jacket! As I was racing back to the fitting rooms, this jacket, seriously, stopped me in tracks! It was an exact dupe for the BlancNYC Suede jacket that sold out in every color and size from Nordstrom during their big sale! AND it was $25! {Hallelujah!} I grabbed it in my size and head back to try it on, I didn’t even use a fitting room. I just took my cardi off and tried it on in front of their big mirror. I totally overshared with the poor girl that worked the fitting rooms. I told her all about this jacket and how it was on my wish list, but by the time it came back in stock the moment had passed and I really couldn’t make myself spend $200 on jacket. She was excited for me; her and the other 4 girls I told.
Obviously this jacket came home with me; the color, quality and fit were perfect! I’ve been wearing it {almost} every day since and I LOVE its versatility! For the Christmas party, I paired it with a black tunic from Nordstrom, OTK boots, and my favorite Faux Leather Leggings from Gray Monroe. I layered a few delicate necklaces, to soften the look, and added my favorite evening clutch from Stella & Dot.
