Off the Shoulder: Day to Night
I shared this adorable Anthropologie dress here last month, but thought it was worthy of more than just a dressing room diaries post! I’m excited to share how Im taking this linen off the shoulder gingham dress from day to night. As soon as I tried it on, my mind started racing on all the different ways I could style it (this is how I justify my purchases! The more versatile, the better!).

Its finally feeling like Spring! Which for us in Oklahoma means, it’s hot one day and cold the next. (You can even throw in a tornado for good measure!) I picked up this adorable white peplum tee at the latest Gray Monroe Sip & Shop and had so many inquiries, that I thought I should link it here! I love this top. Gingham Dress
Last week I tagged along with my husband as he traveled to Virginia for work. Something I never get to do, but the stars and babysitters alined and I got the chance to go with! We stayed at a hotel in the town center, which was an adorable town square with amazing shopping and restaurants. While he worked, which was seriously all day long, I wondered around, took my time at each boutique and tried on everything. (A luxury when you have young children!)

There are so many great amazing trends for Spring 2017 and I can’t wait to share a few of my favorites with you over the next few weeks! First up, the mule. I’ve been crushing on this look for a while and stalking my favorite brands waiting for a sale {does anyone else do that?!}. I’m probably the worst Fashion Blogger, because I absolutely HATE to buy anything full price! There are a few items that I truly think are investment pieces (bags, jeans, boots), but a trendy shoe isn’t one of them! I love a good dupe, especially when it’s on trend pieces. So, I thought I would round up my favorite Mules under $100! I’d love to hear your favorites too! 
{Oversized} Sweater Weather
Is there any outfit easier than pairing skinnies with an oversized sweater?! It’s my go to winter style. Some days paired with sneakers, some with boots, but everyday includes an oversized sweater! I love this one from Beau & Arrow and have to admit that I wore it 4 times last week (it’s too good!)! If your local, you need to head down to the Boxyard and stop in to Beau & Arrow! Style tip: When shopping for this look, try sizing up! The slouchier the better! When styling an oversized top, keep your pants slim. We don’t want to get lost in our clothes! Pair with leggings and over the knee boots, skinny jeans and sneakers, or a straight leg with lace up flats!

Christmas break decompression) on Monday with my Mom and Aunt and everywhere we went there was at least one velvet piece in my cart! I bought the cutest velvet dress that I plan to wear to an upcoming wedding and the sweetest velvet cami for layering!
